Tundras founded about 10 years after the first Elves arrived at Port Maldor. They arrived around 0 A.S.(After Settlement). The elves that arrived were very disdainful of human, dwarven and other races cultures. They were a secluded people only intersted in the magical arts. They were among many refugees that arrived on these lands unknowing of their location. The elves needed a location that protected them from larger preditors and also secluded them from the rest of the races.

For 3 years the elves trudged across the Inordinate mountains that now contain the monarchy's castle. They were lead by a man name Kindel Munal. He lead the elves for years down the mountains and across what was once known as the goblin plains. These plains were eventually controlled by the Kah Ling. It took nearly 5 years to cross the Kah Ling plains. When they reached the Liamen Mountains they were stumped. the mountain set was so high and steep it almost seemed impossible to cross. The elves were not going to be stopped in their quest for a great land to rest on. A mighty group of young strong elves started up the mountains. It took 2 years to make the steep climb and many losses of life. Almost half the entire tribe of elves had died. Kindel Munal himself was running low on spirit.

We the group of elves peaked the mountain top they were shocked at what they saw. Below in the valley is a gigantic lake and a surrounding woodland. The elves rejoiced with relief, they had found their lands to rest apon. The beaten, wore out, aching elves made it down the mountain in less than a day just to enjoy the warm wonderfully magic spring water that was held in the lake.

Around the time of 50 AS Kindel Munal had fallen ill. His eldest son Sal Munal rose to take his place. Kindel was always a kind and generous elf who believed in segregation of the races. He believed the elves to be the best, smartest and greatest. When Sal decided to take leadership his views were different. He wanted to bring diplomacy to the other races. He also wanted domination of the Kah Ling Plains and the Ogre Tribes. Around 60 AS Sal launched a magical war against the Kah Ling and Ogres with the help of Mulla Xul. During the wars the tide shifted and the Kah Ling proved themselves to be magically defended and physically superior. Sal was considered a great diplomat and speaker to his people. He also was this as well to others. He manipulated the Kah Ling to let down their attack and so would Sal. They agree to concentrate their efforts on the Ogre tribes lead by Gra Gra at the time.

During the year of 75 AS Sal and the Kah Ling had breached the ogre tribe’s defenses. Sal was growing old and tired of the events and so were the Kah Ling. During one last push the Tundrians made it past the main defenses of the ogres and captured Gra Gra. Gra Gra was brought back to Tundras to be held for a magical ritual. During this ritual he would be made a pure hearted soul. A few days before the ritual, Sal declared one last attack on the ogres. The high Mystic Elves said "NO WAY" and had Sal arrested. Sal would now be included on this ritual to make his heart pure as well.

When the ritual began Mulla Xul opposed the tampering with what nature intended and interupted the ceremony. The effect that occurred was the joining of Sal and Gra into what became a Half-ElfOgre. Their heart was now pure but they now share the same thoughts and mind for eternity. Sal Gra became and still is to this date the greatest swordsman of the land he trains almost any elf you will meet. Mulla Xul was exilled from Tundras and is viewed as evil to all the elves. Mulla is now employed for King Cyrus and is by far the most powerful mage in the land. Sal Munal's son now leads the elves under the monarchy. His name is Krim Munal.

 

Chapter 2

 

When the empire fell things did not change one bit in Tundras. In a matter of fact, things got happier. The surge had no effect on the city in any way. It did send some wayward humans into the city. Tundras still remains completely independent.
