When the kingdom was in its glory Brazen was the most loyal city to Tumult. Brazen was used as a major training ground for all of the royal guards. Lord Fontleroy was in charge of the entire army garrisoned in the city. The loyalty the soldiers had to him was insurmountable.

The year the skies turned black and the undead erupted from a void Brazen soldiers were sent into action. With Fontleroy at the helm he drafted any passerby into his army in Brazen. He set his soldiers out on patrols to garrison and protect other cities in the name of Tumult. His command was not questioned nor was the moral of his men swayed when word of the king and the entire royal family falling reached them. Fontleroy instilled faith in the kingdom into his men and remained loyal to the idea of Tumult as long as possible.

The word came back to Brazen over the short time of dispatching soldiers that men were deserting the Tumult army built in Brazen. The men were either leaving outright or being recruited by the other cities for their own garrison. The actions of those men bothered Fontleroy and he began a list of all those men who left. Word came down that Tumult had lost its power so Fontleroy decided to take things into Brazen hands.

The entire city of Brazen is a place made up mainly of fishermen, soldiers, armor smiths and weapon smiths. If the people weren't in the army they were a previous member of it and all had loyalty to Lord Fontleroy. There wasn't anyone who stood to oppose him as he and others quickly organized a local government and elections to designate their leader. Fontleroy was a natural selection.

The fishermen and smiths of Brazen quickly acted to fortify the city during the surge. They were such a far distance from Tumult they weren't effected all too much. The occasional wraith would make its way down to Brazen but the local talent was far beyond a threat. The local market kept itself going by running the ships to Port Maldor and Stallport with the quality weapons and armor produced in Brazen. The fishing market is considerably active as well and the fish caught south of Brazen is shipped all over Aitaegen.

Over the past 2 years Brazen has set itself amongst the cities on Aitaegen as an honorable, powerful and active city. Adventurers make their way to brazen for the greatest training they can possibly get. Merchants come for the trade and smith come for the diversity. Other cities often employ Brazen soldiers for added security in times of need when monster threat arise. Lord Fontleroy is a very well known figure amongst the other cities and respected so far beyond what King Cyrus ever was.
